We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Shopify Developer, you will play a critical role in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our Shopify-based e-commerce platform. Your expertise in Shopify customization, theme development, and app integration will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience for our customers. You will work closely with our design, marketing, and product teams to implement new features, optimize performance, and address any technical challenges that arise.
Responsibilities:
- Shopify Store Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Shopify-based e-commerce websites, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, user experience, and responsiveness.
- Theme Customization: Customize and modify existing Shopify themes or create new ones from scratch, tailoring the look and feel of our online stores to align with our brand identity and meet specific project requirements.
- App Integration: Identify and implement appropriate Shopify apps and plugins to enhance the store’s capabilities, such as payment gateways, shipping solutions, SEO tools, and more.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve the performance of our Shopify stores, optimizing page load times, mobile responsiveness, and overall site speed.
- Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors that may arise on the Shopify platform, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operation of our online stores.
- E-commerce Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to e-commerce and Shopify, and apply this knowledge to enhance our platform’s functionality and user experience.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to safeguard customer data, payment information, and other sensitive data, ensuring our Shopify stores are compliant with relevant regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize the e-commerce workflow.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of [X years] experience in Shopify development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful Shopify-based e-commerce projects.
- Proficiency in Web Technologies: Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and responsive design principles.
- Liquid Templating Language: Extensive experience working with Shopify’s Liquid templating language to customize themes and develop dynamic features.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Shopify Certification: Shopify Developer Certification or relevant certifications would be a plus.
- Knowledge of Shopify Plus: Experience with Shopify Plus, enterprise-level Shopify, would be beneficial for larger-scale projects.
- SEO and Analytics: Familiarity with SEO best practices and integration of analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) for data-driven decision-making.
