Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines that ensure seamless software delivery.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using modern tools and techniques like Terraform, Ansible, and Docker.
- Manage and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes, driving system efficiency and scalability.
- Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and troubleshoot issues to guarantee high availability and performance of our services.
- Champion a culture of security by implementing best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations, resolving issues promptly and minimizing downtime.
- Optimize cloud resources to balance performance and cost, utilizing services on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster growth within the team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Collaborate with developers to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and integrate continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, showing a strong understanding of software development and IT operations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and experience with version control systems (Git).
- Solid grasp of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their associated deployment tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of networking, security practices, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward addressing challenges.
- Effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical, to collaborate across teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or containerization technologies.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Familiarity with serverless computing, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
