We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our upscale hotel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all hotel departments, maintaining high standards of service, and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities for Hotel Manager:

  1. Operational Leadership:
    • Provide strategic leadership to all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Sales, and Maintenance.
    • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction, streamline processes, and improve efficiency.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of each department, making adjustments as necessary to meet or exceed targets.
  2. Guest Experience:
    • Ensure that the hotel consistently provides exceptional guest service and maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort.
    • Address guest concerns and feedback promptly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Foster a culture of personalized service that anticipates and fulfills guest needs.
  3. Team Management:
    • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise department heads and staff members.
    • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance employee skills and ensure a high-performing team.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the hotel’s annual budget, closely monitoring revenue and expenses to achieve profitability goals.
    • Implement cost control measures without compromising service quality.
    • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiencies.
  5. Sales and Marketing:
    • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to develop strategies to increase occupancy rates, revenue per available room (RevPAR), and overall hotel visibility.
    • Participate in sales activities and networking events to build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Maintain compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and brand requirements.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive the hotel’s growth and achieve long-term objectives.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to remain innovative and competitive.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in hotel management or a related leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Sales.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and revenue management.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Ability to make strategic decisions under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and systems.
  • Certification from relevant hospitality organizations (e.g., AHLEI) is a plus.
