Responsibilities for Tech Lead:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, scope, and priorities.
- Define the technical architecture, design patterns, and development standards for projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Hands-on coding, code review, and technical contributions to ensure high-quality code that aligns with best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects, ensuring timely delivery while managing technical risks and dependencies.
- Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with industry trends, evaluating new technologies, and proposing their adoption when appropriate.
- Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and architectural gaps.
- Act as a point of escalation for technical challenges and provide solutions to ensure project success.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages open communication, diverse perspectives, and effective problem-solving.
- Continuously monitor and improve development processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a senior software engineer or technical lead, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
- Strong expertise in software development, including proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design principles, and best practices.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and innovative mindset.
- Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Previous experience in mentoring and developing engineering talent is highly desirable.
